Breathtaking Landscapes of Nippon

Beautiful coastline. However, there's an indescribable sense of unease lingering. 
It's quickly evident that it's because of the towering giant buildings in the distance.
People say it's necessary for prosperity. 
But has life in the region truly become prosperous? Has our way of life become richer? 
Look at Fukushima. Since that day, all abundance has been taken away, leaving barren land behind.
After the nuclear power plant was built, all the harvests were taken away, leaving wasteland behind.
In the tranquil landscape, threats lie dormant.
As a photographer, I visited nuclear power plants around Japan and captured the daily lives of the surrounding communities on camera.
My aim was to explore the anxieties and complex emotions that lie hidden beneath the calm surface of everyday life. 
In addition to photographs, this video will allow you to see the many scenes that could not be displayed in the exhibition.
