Tanegashima: Scenes of People and Daily Life Since 1995, I have been traveling to Tanegashima every month to conduct interviews. My focus has primarily been on the people and their daily lives. I have delved deep into the lives of the people of Tanegashima, listening to their stories and taking photographs. This work continues to this day. These efforts have culminated in publications such as “To Tanegashima” (Saikaisha), the local magazine “Island Graphic” , and “Tanegashima DNA” (Tanegashima Tourist Association).
